Norfolk Pine (Araucaria heterophylla) is a beautiful Evergreen tree (not actually a pine) commonly grown outdoors in subtropical climates. This tree gets its name from the Norfolk Island in the Pacific Ocean, near New Zealand, where it hails from. Grown indoor, this tree makes for an unique addition to other house plant collections. Many use Norfolk Pine as a living Christmas Tree, making it a very versatile plant.
Light Requirements - Very bright indirect light. Will tolerate a few hours of full sun. Tree may be placed outdoors during spring-summer months, so long as there are no frost warnings.
Water Requirements - Allow top 1/3 of soil to dry between waterings. Plant will benefit from added humidity.
