Strelitzia nicolai commonly known as “Bird of Paradise” has very large paddle shaped green leaves that are leathery in texture. These plants are relatively fast growers and can reach heights of 10’ plus, even indoors. The Bird of Paradise is a great plant for novices and plant enthusiasts alike.
Light Requirements - Full sun to bright indirect light.
Water Requirements - Allow top 1/2 of soil to dry between waterings. Light given will determine frequency of watering. Water less frequently in Fall-Winter.
