Cycas revoluta (Sago Palm) is in fact not a Palm but instead a Cycad, an ancient family of plants. These slow growing plants are very unique looking and fairly easy to maintain. Its large base, resembling a pineapple is adorned with thick feather shaped upright leaves. The new growth on Sago Palm is very fern like, with long thin fronds that unfurl into needle like leaflets.
Light Requirements - Bright indirect light is best. Do not place in direct sun as it may cause leaves to burn.
Water Requirements - Allow soil to almost dry between waterings. Plant will benefit from added humidity or daily misting.
