Ficus elastica “Melany” (Rubber Tree) is a beautiful plant growing on a woody trunk and stems. It’s leaves are thick, glossy and toned with warm green hues that feature a burnt orang/brown underside. Expect this plant to reach height of 10’ plus if given the right requirements. Plant will benefit from monthly rotations so that it does not grow lopsided.
Light Requirements - Bright indirect light is best. Be sure to place in a draft free area.
Water Requirements - Allow top 1/2 of soil to dry between waterings. Do not let plant sit in standing water. Reduce watering frequency during fall/winter months.
